Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as an artist in mixed martial arts who is a part of her country in UFC for the Flyweight Division is in the midst of fighting. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She first made an appearance in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the competition and beat Suzane Mill in the finals by unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a second silver medal in 2007, she was awarded a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold medal in 2011 and then was named the 2017 IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012, she took home her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's final fight took place at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by the unanimous verdict. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut came in 2002 in the KFK Cup event of Kyrgystan during which she took on Anara Bayanova. She took the win via second-round TKO and then won the next two bouts at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating a record of 3-1. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and focused on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui in a unanimous decision. She defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 by an unanimous vote. In 2018, she left the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's striking skills were superior and permitted her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. The result was that Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters' Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision after she won her debut fight. Antonina bounced back from losing to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the evening in this bout. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn Cookagian and then defeated Ariane Lipski's three bouts. Antonina last week lost via TKO, in the 2nd round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
